August

Our sweet Grandma has moved to Utah County.  We visited her every Sunday and the kids just love her.  We will miss seeing her often.
We were invited to a watermelon bash party.  We played bowling and had an egg toss.

After last years party we decided that Green River Melons were the way to go.  They were extra juicy and the kids loved sucking the juice with straws.  Of course no one else wanted to when they were done.
We snapped this cute picture last weekend.  My brother will be leaving on a mission this week to Uganda Africa so we had a party weekend.  Nana took some time to read to the kids.  They loved it.

Family Reunion

We had the extended Morley reunion.  Adam could not come so I took the kids camping by myself.  What was I thinking?  I ended up coming home a day early because the kids got sick and we saw a bear and that alone kept me awake all night.  It was quite miserable.  But besides that, it was an awesome testimony builder and I'm glad we went.
The theme for the reunion GAME ON and each family was given a game board to relate to families.  Our family was candy land.
Sick Spencer, he ended up having tonsillitis.
It was so fun to watch everyone learn a dance for Kenzie's wedding.
Lanaya and Axel were friends most of the time.  In Lanaya's sleep she would talk tell Axel to stop pushing her.

 Spencer loved the forts.
As soon as we got home from the doctor Kaylee calmly told me to come and look at Lanaya.  So I took my time only to find blood all over her face.  I was too occupied to take a picture then but this is a few minutes later.

We went to International Kids Days.  The kids loved to sit in the helicopter.  It really was too hot to enjoy but my kids did so well and were so tired for a nap when we got home.

Pizza Party

Grandma Joyce had an awesome raspberry patch that we have taken full advantage of.  We probably picked about 7 bowls the size of the one Kaylee is holding.

Lanaya loves to show people her behind so we had to get a picture to remember.
We had a pizza party.  We made fruit pizza, the Bakers made cookie pizza, and Brock and Katy made yummy BBQ and pepperoni pizza.  It was a good idea and we all had fun.

The guys sure were on one.  Good thing I got a picture.

4th of July

Our neighbors have a yearly 4th of July party and this was the first year we stayed in town and could participate.  It was so fun.  We played giant Jenga, roasted marshmallows, and watch fireworks.

Baby Announcement

We found out what gender our baby is.  I had an ultrasound about 2 weeks ago and Adam was not able to come.  So I decided to NOT find out right away and to save the surprise for my birthday.  My sweet neighbor made us the cake so we all would be surprised......and were we surprised?  Most everyone, like 90%, thought we were having a boy.  But nope, IT'S A GIRL!

We are due November 16th.  Hurray for half-way!

Don't mind my nasty picture.  I've been so sick.  But isn't this cake a cute idea?  The kids loved the candy in the middle.  Poor little Spencer wanted it to be a boy so bad.  He still says, "But I wanted it to be a boy."  Kaylee says we should name her 'Pearl' and when I told her that Mommy and Daddy got to pick the name she was a bit disappointed.

Kaylee had surgery on her eye last week.  It was a rough two days but it hasn't slowed her down any.
Our favorite outside toy is a squirt bottle.  Lanaya loves to spray people and it's so cute how she hold it.

They all sport sun glasses when Kaylee needs to wear them.
Adam got a new grill for father's day.  So we had a bbq with family to break it in.

Nauvoo Trip

We took a 1:00am flight and it ended up being terrible.  I did not get a wink.  Next time I'll sit by Adam so I have something to rest my head on.
 The kids loved the airplane.

When we finally got to Ohio we were all starved and tired.  We ate at IHOP and the kids loved their smiley face pancakes.
Most of the family would say that Kirtland was their favorite spot to visit.  This was my favorite place because the families were blessed with so much and able to help the prophet Joseph and many more families that were traveling West.  Then when asked to give up everything they had so much faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ that they left it all behind.  I loved seeing how the Lord prepared these families so that they could help the church grow.
This is a picture in the Newel K. Whitney Store in the room where Christ appeared to the School of the Prophet.  There were so many revelations in Kirtland and so many visitations from Heavenly beings that this room and others in Kirtland were so special.
Spencer probably wont remember anything from this trip.  But he sure loved to find bugs.  He is hold a handful of worms from the Morley farm.
Both Kaylee and Spencer say that the horses and oxen were their favorite part.

Adam found this crazy hat with hair in the gas station and is now wishing he would have bought it.

We went on a fairy boat ride and in the Mark Twain Caves.  Kaylee was so happy and giving lots of hugs the whole time.  It was cute to see her excited and enjoying the trip.

The most peaceful part of the trip was in Nauvoo.  Adam soaked it all in because this was his first time there.  Every night he went to watch the sun set by the temple.  Nauvoo's temple is the most beautiful I've ever seen and we enjoyed having it so close.

This was a fun picture we took at Adam-ondi-Ahman.  Spencer was the only one to come away with ticks, three of them that we know of.

We took a fun day and went to a miniature golf and arcade place.  It was nice to get a brake from traveling. My Dad enjoyed the batting cage and this picture is just silly and makes me laugh.

My siblings were so wonderful on the trip.  They took my kids potty, played games, fed them, and a million other little things that made the trip so nice for Adam and I.  Thank you  for all the help.
