Hurray!

I am so excited to tell everyone that Spencer is WALKING! Everyone keeps telling me that it is so much harder once they walk but I am so excited. Spencer is almost 11 months and he doesn't crawl yet so he has been walking around the house demanding my fingers to help him. So if I'm busy or my back is killing me (from walking him around all day), he'll sqeal like a girl to get what he wants. It's so frustrating because I knew he could walk without my help, he just wanted my finger as a comfort. This is how Kaylee likes to watch her shows. She hasn't actually sat down to watch a show until we got Barney a few weeks ago. She is so cute. These are Thanksgiving pictures is Logan at Adam's parents. This is cousin Austin with Spencer. Kaylee had a dog jump all over her about two months ago and since then she is super scared of animals. Kaylee has warmed up to dogs a little more now that we spent the weekend with a few. It probably doesn't help that I am scared of dogs myself. Spencer sitting with Grandma Pitcher. Kaylee found a trampoline and pretty much played on it the whole time. It's funny because she'll do things to Spencer that I would consider dangerous but Spencer will laugh his head off. So it's hard to tell Kaylee no. Kaylee and cute cousin Sophie. They are the same age. Spencer at 10 months
I thought this was a cute smile.

Cass is married...and this is her cake.

My mom did an amazing job with everything and she even made the flowers with gumpaste. Yes...it's all edible.

New kid pictures

How is this for cute? It is almost Spencers bedtime. We are glad to have kids that sleep well. Kaylee received her first haircut the day before her second birthday, and she still could use a lot more hair. We celebrated her second birthday and Nana's house since we were in the middle of moving. Thank you everyone for your help and all of the little things you do like letting us celebrate a birthday party at your house.

House

This was Adams first time laying tile and it turned out great. This is a close up of Adams first wall texturing attempt. But first he had to repair all the cracks in the plaster. The house really does look good and it feels comfortable. Thank you to all who helped with texturing, sanding, taping, painting, moving. We could not have done it with out the help. We will welcome any visitors so come on over!

After House Pictures

As you look through these pictures you will see new texturing, paint, light switches & plugs, carpet, vinyl, curtains, couches, and tile. We also had to add a few lights.

After House Pictures

We havent had time to put up baseboards yet.

Front entry way - with the tinfoil wall paper part of the master bedroom some of the hallway I noticed that we dont have any pictures of the carpet. You would be amazed! We need to do a better job at keeping that kind of documentation.

Halloween House

This is the Halloween house that Grandma Pitcher sent Kaylee. As you can tell she loved to eat it. So far she only recognizes Halloween by that house.

Autumn leaf fort

This will be Kaylee's first real chance she has had to play in the autumn leaves. It is fun that she has kids to build forts with her. But, it is no fun when they make her be careful to not destroy the masterpeice.

Hey There Delilah (I'm at the MTC)

I thought this was very creative and funny. Hey there Delilah, what’s it like at BYU? I’m just a quarter mile away, but feel so far away from you, But that will do, Cuz two years from now I’ll be with you, I know that’s true. Hey there Delilah, don’t you worry about the distance, Few more months and I can call you both on Mother’s D ay and Christmas. Close your eyes, Then just think of suits and ties, But not other guys. Cuz, you said you’d wait for me, O, you said you’d wait for me, O, I’m at the MTC, O, I’m at the MTC, at the MTC. Now have some patience and don’t think of dating Conner, Cuz two more years you may be done with school, But I’ll return with honor. I can’t wait, Just two more years till our next date, It will be great. O when you told me I was the love of your life, And I just held you close and kissed you just like I’ll kiss my wife. We can goodbye, And I gave you my favorite tie, There’s no need to cry. Cuz, you said you’d wait for me, O, you said you’d wait for me, O, I’m at the MTC, O, I’m at the MTC, at the MTC. There were RMs who made fun of me and said you’ll never wait for me, To them I say ‘oh ye, of little faith.’ Cuz we’ve been dating for two months and I think that that’s long enough, To know someone enough to feel this way. I carry your picture with me and talk about you constantly, I’m driving my companion insane, And you’re to blame. Woke up this morning, checked the mail right at dawn, And just believe me girl how shocked I was to read those words, “Dear John, I think we’re through, I meet a guy better than you, Go ahead and cry if you want to, Sincerely Delilah, missing you, P.S. we’re through.” O, you didn’t wait for me, O, you didn’t wait for me, O, you didn’t wait for me, O, and I’m only at the MTC, at the MTC… ~Jason Cassel

Uncle Brock loves to take Spencer anytime he is happy. He'll usually make him do strange things or put him in weird positions to get a laugh. I love to see my brothers interact with Kaylee and Spencer.
We have a ritual everytime we go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. First we read about 3 books, then Kaylee pulls someones finger to get them in the kitchen where she convinces us to give her food. Then we play with toys until Grandpa gets home and she runs to the door to greet him so they can go get pretzels which are her favorite. Kaylee is able to communicate so well and says the funnest things sometime. Her new word is "Woopdeedoo!" She'll usually say this as she skips around or just when she is happy.
I absolutely love this picture of Grandma because it portrays her attitude so well. Grandma is so good with children and is very animated when reading books to Kaylee. That's probably why she has Grandma read most of the books.

Kaylee is waiting patiently for her dinner to be made. Taking some early lessons on how to pound the piano.
FHE 9/26/09. Kaylee still prefers her marshmellows "raw".
It isn't very obvious what Spencer wants. I think he is trying to say that he wants sugar.

Labor Day

Kaylee loved riding and driving the gator. She didnt have the concept of holding down the gas pedal.
Helping shuck the corn with grandpa.
Eat or not eat? Caramel popcorn covered in sand.
It was fun to feed the birds until they got to close for comfort.
