First snow of the season

Kaylee didnt really know what to do with all the white fluffy stuff. Since it was new she did say "whoa" a lot.

To Daddy:

Hi DAD! I just wanted to show you my FOREHEAD. I took a big fall today while you are away and have this lovely bruise to show for it. Mom also put my hair up for the first time today. It's still sort of whimpy but we are both excited. We love you and miss you.

Bowling

SO, we havent updated for awhile, which is really boring for everyone when you all want to see something new. We went bowling with kaylee and the family and she loved it. She wanted to hang out around the balls the whole time. We put a 12lb ball on the floor and she enjoyed kicking it around like a bowling ball.

Kaylee got a cell phone, rocking chair, fridge magnets, pajamas, and jacket. Now she can talk with dad while he is gone during the week.

She really dove into this cupcake once she new what it was!

Because I Miss My Hubby!

It is really hard to be without a husband from Monday - Saturday. One day a week is just not enough for me. I appreciate him more than ever and can't wait to see him this weekend.

1. Where did you meet your husband? We met the first Sunday I moved to Logan at a Linger Longer where he got my number.

2. How long did you date before you married? We dated for 6 months and were engaged for 2 1/2 months.

3. How long have you been married? 2 years 2 months

4. What does he do that surprises you? He leaves notes for me around the house, usually when we are away from each other. He has always been good at leaving notes or little treats. When we were dating he would leave me baggies of peeled kiwi's or carrots on my car because I didn't eat very many vegetables and I don't like to take the time to peel fruits.

5. What is his favorite feature? I'm not sure what he likes most about himself but I'd guess it would be his backside...but love his dimple when he smiles.

6. What is your favorite quality of his? I love how cute he is about being a dad. I love to watch him double check on Kaylee after she's gone to sleep. I love how he does his share of the diapers without complaint, how he'll take her out during church, and how he enjoys every sweet kiss or hug that Kaylee gives.

7. Does he have a nickname for you? Adam loves nicknames and there really are a lot. Weefee (for wife) is the most commonly used.

8. What is his favorite food? He loves hearty manly meals as I call them. For example steak and potatoes, roast and mashed potatoes, homemade french fries, or just plain potatoes.

9. What is his favorite sport? I would say that he likes to play volleyball or something although he likes to watch many sports and thank goodness he is not a fanatic about any of them. He just likes to keep up with what is going on.

10. When & where was your first kiss? Under the mistletoe on his front porch. He had been teasing me for weeks about kissing me under the mistletoe. I went to pick him up to come Christmas shopping with me and as soon as he opened the door he pecked me and ran to car. He left me standing there thinking about what just happened. Not to mention how awkward it was going to meet him at the car.

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We've talked about this before because we were concerned we didn't have much in common like other couples. Adam likes to fish and I would rather not. I like to be home and he would rather be outside. But we have enjoyed and really become addicted to "The Walton's." We enjoy discussing parenting issues that come up in the shows and things like that.

12. Do you have any children? 11 month Kaylee and one son on the way in January. 13. Does he have any hidden talents? Loves to cook and sew.

14. Who said I love you first? I'd have to look in my journal before I'm absolutely positive but I think I did.

15. What is his favorite music? Instrumental on Sundays.....we don't listen to music very often.

16. What do you admire most about him? That he is always trying to improve and be better. He's very sensitive to the spirit and his aware of his testimony.

17. What is his favorite color? blue, yellow, gray At least those are the colors that I see him lean toward.

18. Will he read this? I hope so

Roosevelt

This is the job that keep me (adam) away from my family during the week.

We are putting brick and rock on this house (Ben and Jodi's) in Roosevelt.

We are trying to hurry as fast as we can to avoid the cold weather.

Kitty

Grandma Pitcher and family spoiled her this past week. They were able to find her a little stuffed Kitty that she loves. She tries to talk to it (well she makes her usual noises she would make if she was around a real animal). She has a story to go along with her new kitten as well. When she first brought it home she walked outside the apartment door and set the kitty on the ground and apparently expected it to go somewhere. She just stood and waited for something to happen. It was really funny.

Great Grandpa Morley

Great Grandpa Morley loves to dance with Kaylee, as you can see kaylee loves it too.

This was our (my mom and I) first wedding cake order. I hope they get less stressful. It took 2 days to complete(with a baby) and I'm so glad that its over. I've decided to only make 1 a month or less. We learned a lot and are so grateful we didn't have any huge disasters.

Is this normal?

Has anyone ever seen a yellow watermelon or did we just eat something extremely rare. It tasted normal whatever it was. I tell you what we have had some good watermelons this year (we are very close to Green River).

We havent run short on fruit either. That is one thing they have a lot of in Price- fruit. There are plenty of apricots (they should export them or something), plums, apples, peaches, and some pears and cherries. With all of the fruit there are planty of birds to eat it. Another thing there is not a shortage of are dogs. Way too many dogs!

This is Adam after a day of work. This certainly isnt the worst it has been either.

It's a BOY!

Well, it's going to be a boy. January 26th is the due date. We are excited! We were hoping for another girl to be honest, not to mention we have a handful of girls names to put some faces to. Coming up with a boy name isnt as easy. Our 2 children will be 15 months apart in case you were calculating :)

We spent 2 days in St George for our 2yr anniversary. It was a blazing 107 degrees. We spent the morning in Zions and then relaxed at our bed and breakfast (green gate village) in the afternoon. It was a nice place. That evening we went to a play at Tuacahn theatre. That was the only time the heat bothered us. It was awful. The next day we tried to go to the temple but our recommends expired. We propbably would have known that if we were still in Logan and live 4 blocks away from it. Anyway, it was a great time, and it was nice to be by ourselves for a little while.

We have contact!

We are officially connected to the outside world from our apartment. It is really exciting. You dont realize how much you miss it until it is gone. Anyway, it is time for bed tonight but there will be pictures coming soon.

Looks like they were born as bosom buddies. :0) hehe

Update from the Pitchers

We apologize that we are not very up-to-date with our blog. We have been borrowing the interent from family because we havent gotten our own. Anyway, things are pretty good down here. Adam just finished a job where he put rock onto a building. We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary. We went to St. George. It was fun. We went to Zions National Park, saw Les Mis at Tuachan theatre, stayed at The Green Gate Village. It was fun to be able to get away without the baby. We missed her though. About Kaylee, she has her front 4 teeth, she took 26 steps yesterday and is loads of excitement. In other news- if you did not know... we are pregnant again, due January 26th. It was a little bit of a surprise to us because the odds were way in our favor of not getting pregnant.

Would anyone like to tend an 8 month walking baby?

Life goes on in Price

Things are good here in Price. It has been fun to be around the family. It didnt take Adam very long to get a tan- being outside doing cement and brick work. Adam had an interview in Layton with Kroger Manufacturing but hasnt heard back. We are still looking. We have given our talks in church already and have callings as ward missionaries dealing with YSA as "couple mentors". Kaylee is practically drinking only a bottle now by herself, she is immitating very well. We have found the she loves balls and animals.

Price

We are moving to Price. We will officially move friday afternoon. This will not be a career move but we will be closer to the family. We are excited. Adam is still looking for a job.

1st Tooth!

Kaylee is getting her first tooth. Its kind of exciting. She has sure increased her baby talk lately, it was fun before and now it is more fun. We have been repeating "dada" to her a lot- she seems to say it but doesnt really know what it means.

I wanted everyone to know that Kaylee loves this song/video. I (adam) used it one day as a distraction and she loved it and has ever since. Its a little weird but very funny and cute, she smiles/laughs/dances everytime.

In case you wanted to know...

1. I've been in a car accident where my car was totalled. I can still remember the feeling after the airbag came out.
2. I pretended to be Big Foot once. It was at a family reunion in Wyoming and the kids fell for it. (long story)
3. I've never been to EFY- because i never knew i could

4. I've been lost in the Wind Rivers once (long story) (this was the area when we first started to lose the trial)
5. I dont understand all the track & field races
6. My most embarrassing moment is not appropriate to write about :)
7. I've been stranded at lake powell once when the boat broke down (long story)
(the sun really got to us that day- I dont know what i was even doing in this picture- hehe)
