Just when I thought things were peachy again Kaylee needs a trip to the emergency room. The kids and I traveled to Logan with Adam because he was doing a job fair for work. Adam had left for the day and then Kaylee comes inside the house screaming and once again all bloody. I realized immediately that this cut was
definitely going to need stitches because it was twice as long and twice as open. Needless to say I freaked out because I knew that Kaylee was not going to be happy, Adam wasn't
around, and we couldn't get to our doctor in Price.
We went to the emergency room and I was surprised at how fast they got us in. They were really nice but to make a long story short the numbing solution didn't work and poor Kaylee was screaming at the nurses. She felt EVERYTHING! Adam and I are actually quite disappointed in how the stitches look and just hoping that it heals nicely. Because the stitches are in her eyebrow we are scared that there will be a large scar and it wont have hair in it resulting in a strange looking eyebrow. We even took her back to the emergency room to get a doctors opinion. He said that if it does look bad we can always get plastic surgery later...........Uh..........ya.....that wont be expensive at all. I guess only time will tell.
There were a lot of blessings from this experience. 1- That I had our insurance cards 2-That Adam's Mom was able to watch the other kids so that I was able to comfort Kaylee 3- That the nurses were so nice 4-That they got us in quickly and wasn't was full day event like last time. 5-And I recognize how amazing our doctor is here in Price.
The next step is to get her into the eye doctor to check her prescription. I'm pretty sure that her eyes are worse and that her depth perception is WAY off, hence the falling and stitches.
