A few memories

We helped clean out Grandma Rose's house so company could stay there.  I'm most impressed with the three word she wrote in her journal everyday.  PRAYER, EXERCISE, SCRIPTURE.  She was an amazing women who did all those thing for 100 years.

I'm so proud of Adam who went golfing with my Dad and brothers.  He really doesn't enjoy the sport or rather says he can't afford it.  But he went anyway and had fun.

We went to a fast food Mexican restaurant in Wellington.  Cass says it's to die for so we all tried it.  It was yummy and super fun.

This is how the Morley's camp

BIG Everything!  BIG GAMES, BIG JENGA, BIG DINNER, BIG BREAKFAST!

I love this picture!  It showes Adam's personality.  Could you guess he's winning four square?
This is definitely a happy Dad.

We will all laugh at this picture of Derek for years to come.  Probably had to be there.

I really enjoyed taking Spencer on a little walk to the potty that morning.   He was so happy to show me everything he was finding.  He loves to explore and seems passionate about things just like Adam.  I got a little glimpse of Adam in him.  It was priceless!

The group picture!
I can't believe Kaylee is going to school.  She is loving it!  I have had mixed feelings about leaving her that I didn't think I would have.  I thought that I would just be glad to have 2 kids at home for a while and it would all be great.  But truthfully, Spencer misses her and so do I.  She is so fun lately and getting so smart.  She is loving to read...or at least has the ah-ha moments when she actually reads a word.
These last pictures are of Lanaya.  Just looking at these pictures make me smile.  She has turned into a little girl.
 Praying
 First pigtails
 Helping Daddy
She loves the same kitty that Kaylee carried around.
I've taught her how to deadhead instead of pick the flowers.  It's really quite helpful.
She has started to potty again.
Loves to try on shoes.

My favorite pictures

This is my favorite picture from the Logan Truck Pull.  We decided to go because Adam's brother is in charge of most of them.  Both of us had never been before and it made for a fun date.  Wendel shot Adam this T-shirt.  Adam was pretty excited about it.
This is my favorite picture from the family reunion.  Adam and I were in charge and had most of his family at our house.  We went to the Wedge and Buckhorn Draw, the Wave Pool, and played games at our House.   Perhaps more pictures to come.

Brigham Temple and Hats Contest

We took the kids to the Brigham City Temple Open House.  We are so glad that we were able to go.  Kaylee and Spencer were very quiet and seemed to be absorbing it all in.  Kaylee's favorite part were the lights (probably because they were sparkly) and Spencer liked the COWS!

These are some silly pictures we took at Grandma Pitchers.

And...this is a family picture we took at Adam's work party.  It was a hat party and I spend most of the week trying to be creative.  So this was as good as it gets.  Notice Lanaya's small hat, Adam's chili pepper hat, Spencer has Toy Story toys and Kaylee has a Christmas tree on top of a witch hat.

Kaylee is so excited to tell everyone that she won the hat contest and got a new 39" TV!  We are all so excited especially since it is an upgrade.

Unedited Family Pictures

Before we headed to Logan we stopped in Helper to take these pictures.  Even Kaylee took some of them. I can definitely see each of our personalities in them.

Hurray for Cousins!

All three of my siblings are back from Summer Sales.  It has been so fun to play with cousins.  Here are just a few pictures.

August Getaway!

Thanks to my mom we were able to have a weekend alone...without the kids.  It was actually hard to leave them but I felt we needed it.  Most of or...my plans fell threw but we were able to make some memories.  We stopped in Sandy to pick out fabric for our bedroom quilt.  This took our whole afternoon but we are sure glad that is over.  Then we walked around City Creek and had dinner at Texas de Brazil.  I guess it is nice to treat yourself to something nice but it wasn't worth the price.  If you know us we are pretty frugal.

Another lesson learned was to check if the temple is open before you wake up at 4:45am to make the 6:00 session.  We wanted to go early so that we could hike in the morning hours.  It was so quiet at 5:30 in downtown Salt Lake and we were the only people out and about.  It was strange but come to find out the temple was closed and we don't even know why.
So we went on our hike extra early.  We went up Little Cotton Wood Canyon and climbed about 2 miles up to Lake Mary.  It was beautiful!  I'm so glad that we can enjoy and appreciate nature together.

I don't have pictures of the ride home because I was to MAD to even care.  I was anxious to get home the kids so we tried to make short cuts on the road.  We ended up taking the Alpine Loop during a bike race which put us back about 1 1/2 hours.  Then as soon as we got out of the canyon we were stopped on the highway for a good 30 minutes.  I was so frustrated and thankfully I have a husband who handled it well.
