The 5k run/walk "Running with Angels" race was this weekend at Thanksgiving Point. It was a beautiful day. Adam enjoyed walking around the gardens and enjoying the scenery.
This is the family who participated. Lou- took first place in her age group and was the first one of us to finish. My goal was to run a 30 minute but I suprised myself with a 28.39 minute 5k which is the fastest I've ever run one but I can definitely improve. My next goal is a 27 flat.
If you have never been to Thanksgiving points garden this is just a taste of some of the scenery. It is so peaceful, relaxing and beautiful.
