July Activity

She is always sneaking out to the raspberries.

We made these worms.  Spencer just dove in but it took some convincing to get Kaylee to eat one.
For the fourth we went to the Vernal parade.
Adam found a chair in the carseat.

This is a picture of the Church Camp fire right off the road.

I made a chalkboard out of our old table top.  Too bad the wood is falling apart and we have to make a new one already.  But they love it.

We been praying for rain and finally got an awesome storm to play in.  It was so cute because when it started raining I asked the kids who prayed for rain.  They both raised the hands and said I prayed for rain.  They are still praying everyday for rain and thanking Heavenly Father for the rain we did get.

Dad reads them a book everynight.

They play so well together.   Even if it means that they made a huge mess.  It's so nice that they can keep themselves entertained.

Lanaya is 1

This is pretty sad, I only got one picture from her birthday.  Lanaya is so cute and fun to be around.  She is so friendly unlike her siblings and so so so smart.  We can't believe she is already one.  Happy Birthday!

She will always get out rags and help clean the floor.  It is so cute.
I  questioned putting this picture on but I have to brag.  She has already gone potty about 8 times.  It's not consistant yet but we'll definitely keep trying.
She is so busy and definitley a climber.
I'm so grateful to have this little one around to bring us smiles everyday.

Memorial Day Zoo

Grandma and Lanaya looking at the elephants.
 His signature smile.

Kaylee was so excited.  I think this was the perfect age to take them.
 They loved the merry-go-round.
 Silly Daddy!
Spencer was most excited about the train ride.  Good thing he got to sit with Grandpa.

New Summer Hair

This is Kaylee's before hair.  It was so long and pretty but only on the days I did something to it.  She was always holding it up and complaining that her neck was hot.  So we convinced her to let me cut it.  I took some scissors to it one afternoon and Adam was so suprised when he got home.
This is Kaylee's after picture.  After a professional cut it.  My cut wasn't so cute. It looks darker and thicker. I love it.
This is my new hair.  I had it lightened for the second time so I'm pretty blond.  This picture doesn't show it well but I did get mistaken as Paige.  I'm liking it so far.

Did you know that wearing 7 pair of sunglasses will still damage your eyes if you look at the sun?  Well we didn't until AFTER we watched the eclipse on Sunday.

We decided we needed a blanket picture since all of our kids are hooked on them.  Lanaya by far is the pickiest of them all.  She has to have silk on the edges to suck on and then rub soft inside.  It is so cute though because she gets so cuddly when she has it.
I thought this was a cute picture of Spencer watching t.v. at the hotel.  What a stud!
 Kaylee wear dress ups.
Kaylee dressing up Spencer.  Adam just had to get several picture of that.

I'm posting these pictures because Adam must have been in a goofy mood.  He's pulling some sort of face in each picture.

Lou and I at the Running With Angels race.  I really didn't expect Lou to keep up but she sure did and had fun.  She even beat me.  I'm bumbed that I didn't get my goal time but now I know where I'm at.  I did however take 2nd in my age group.  There were over 1500 runners and I can be proud to say that.
J.J. took state in the 300 hurdles just like Brock did.  It was so fun to go and support and see him have success after such a long season.  Congrats J.J.
Our little Lanaya is now 1!
I really can't believe it.  It seems like last week I was sitting on the front porch waiting and waiting and waiting to go into labor.  These are a few pictures of her favorite things.
 Riding in the Jeep
 Mommy's Cell Phone
Playing like a big girl with Kaylee and Spencer.  She just loves to push this bike around.

Lanaya is such and independent person.  I love it and at the same time fear it.  Her most recent accomplishment has been going to the potty.  I'll brag right now that she has gone a total of 6 times in 2 weeks.  It's amazing how smart they are.

Precious Everyday Moments

Lanaya at 11 months.  She is trying to be so grown-up lately.  She has the most contagious smile.  We Love It!
I like this picture because it captures just how small she is.
This happens every morning. Kaylee will turn on a DVD every morning while they wait for me to wake up.  It is the best thing I ever taught her.
Happy Lanaya every morning when we got get her.
We do a lot of bike riding lately.  Spencer has just got the hang of a tricycle and Kaylee rides his other tricycle because he can't reach the peddles yet.
This will always be a precious moment.  Grandma Joyce is always reading to the children.  They just love to sit at her side and have her read the books she gives them for their birthdays.

Thankyou Pinterest

Because of Pinterest I've been doing so many new craft projects and trying tons of new yummy recipes.  This past week we made these roads from old jeans.  I have pile of jeans that didn't mind cutting up and here is how they turned out.
It was a great indoor project that the kids loved while they were sick and stuck inside anyway.

Project 2

Before pictures of this little end table.  We bought it on KSL for like $5.00 because of it's shape and because it will hold the toys we keep downstairs.

I finally got around to painting it and making it super cute.  I just love the paintable wallpaper and the blue/gray color we have for the inside.

Before and After Project 1

This is a little vase that love and use to use all the time.  But it has been tarnished for two years and just getting worse.  I 'm to cheap to go and buy a whole bottle of professional stuff just for this one project.  But I happen to come across this little trick in an old cookbook I have.  Just rub bakind soda on with a damp cloth and....
WhaLa!  It's not perfect but man it is much better and usable.  I bet it would have come completely off if it hadn't been two years.
Isn't this vase just so cute.  We love to put our pink blossoms in it and let them dry there.
