San Antonio Texas

I spent last week in San Antonio, Texas and in case no one has ever been I have a couple of pictures to share. This is the "River Walk". It apparently is a big thing. My thoughts were it was cool because it was different but it wasnt anything special. The River walk is 1 story below street level and you have all kinds of restaurants, hotels, and even a few stores to shop at.

Daddy's Suitcase

Adam went to San Antonio, Texas on Sunday morning, yes Father's Day. His work sent him there for Payroll training. This is Kaylee packing herself in his suitcase. We miss you!

This Weeks Cake

You would think that I could come up with a better name than "Ball" Cake but the reason is because we had to roll over 800 fondant pearls. My mom did a wonderful job with the bow on top and we're glad that this one is over. Once again we learned a lot and will do things differently next time.

Kaylee and Spencer are wearing new church clothes this week. Spencer is wearing Great Grandma Corky's suit that he received a long time ago, Kaylee is wearing Grandma Pitcher's new dress. Thank you for the clothes!

Hawaiian Cake

Tada!!! This was a very fun cake to make and actually much less stressful. My mom and I are learning new things every day and love to make brides happy. Tune in for next weeks cake which we call a "BAll"cake. You'll see why.

Name this bug- really we want to know.

Does anyone know the name of this disgusting bug?!! Just looking at it gives me the hebegebes. It came out of the overfill drain hole in the bathtub while Kaylee was taking a bath! Look at those pretty colors, and those skinny long legs. They have such form and move so well togehter. SICK! That is his head on the left that I am going to have someone squash. Anyone want this thing showing up when your taking a bath? Come on let hear your commments. It doesnt get too much better than this (maybe it can- but still).

Thanksgiving Point

The 5k run/walk "Running with Angels" race was this weekend at Thanksgiving Point. It was a beautiful day. Adam enjoyed walking around the gardens and enjoying the scenery. This is the family who participated. Lou- took first place in her age group and was the first one of us to finish. My goal was to run a 30 minute but I suprised myself with a 28.39 minute 5k which is the fastest I've ever run one but I can definitely improve. My next goal is a 27 flat. If you have never been to Thanksgiving points garden this is just a taste of some of the scenery. It is so peaceful, relaxing and beautiful.

Wedding Cake #3

This is our latest and greatest wedding cake we made to a wedding this past friday. Don't let anyone tell you that making a wedding cake is not very hard- it can be very stressful.

Uncle Jesse got married in the Logan temple this past Thursday. This is Kaylee with aunt Christina by one of Adam's favorite spring trees. Cousins Austin and Parker taking Kaylee on a ride in the Gator. Sometimes potty training is very inconvienent and so this is Dad's version when we're outside. Aren't they just Handsom and matching too.
